The Ohio Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is unapologetically Christocentric in its orientation to theology, ministry, and mission.  Jesus is both Savior and Lord of our lives and ministry.  The gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, is both liberating and demanding:  it offers freedom from condemnation and calls for radical discipleship through the obedience and service of love.  The Holy Scriptures are our ultimate authority and the Holy Spirit our reliable Guide.

We are a network of 100 Seventh-day Adventist congregations and 20 schools in the State of Ohio committed to being an incarnational and transformational presence in our communities and in our world.  We embrace into our lives the central reality of the Christian faith – of salvation through grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ alone.  This dynamic experience also compels us to incarnate the “good news” of the power of the Gospel in our communities.  Because God cares about the brokenness of the human condition, we care about the same.  Because God’s love and grace are extended to humanity in compassion, justice, freedom, and peace, we embrace these as uncompromising values of the Christian life.

We are a spiritual community that worships the Triune God as Creator and knows Jesus Christ as Savior, Redeemer, and Lord.  We are a seeking community, open to God’s self-disclosure through His word and through the ministry of His Spirit.  We are an inclusive community that values the richness of diversities within the Body of Christ.  We are a discipling community that equips believers for service and leadership.  We are a missional community that lives and proclaims the Gospel in ways relevant to people everywhere.
