 On Strategy The Ohio Conference is committed to cultivating, within the Adventist community in Ohio, an environment that has the following characteristics: *it influences and facilitates the transformation of the culture of Adventist congregations, centering them in the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ and releasing them for missions; *it empowers God's people to discern and discover God's directions and actions in them and for the communities in which they find themselves; *it offers freedom for congregations and individuals to be and become all that God wants of them; *it invites and inspires congregations to be healthy, vibrant, gospel-centered mission outposts to their communities; *it turns the face of the church outward, beyond church walls, and into the beauty and the brokenness of the world. |
