 On Leadership Leadership in the Ohio Conference is all about transformations – being humbly and fully receptive to the transformations that God seeks to accomplish in us, and being relentless in our efforts to create an environment in Ohio that invites, facilitates, and empowers transformation in people and in congregations. Leadership in Ohio is about trusting God to transform the culture of our congregations and schools, centering them in the Gospel and releasing them for mission. The environment which we seek to create is one within which God’s people discern God’s directions and activities in them and for the communities in which they find themselves. We wish to see the missional imagination of the people of God released for the advancement of His kingdom. Leadership in the Ohio Conference – in its schools, churches, and related ministries -- is about being agents of transformation. It is about being ‘mission movers,” disciplined in our thinking and in our actions to keep as our central focus the advancement of the “kingdom of God.” If God is stirring your heart to be a missional leader, join us on our journey with Him. |
